Studying your figure only shows that the large percent goes to distrust, so it means that Armenia is one of the weal country when it comes in leadership?

Distrust in Parliament is probably due to a lack of transparency, rampant cronyism and the fact that gangsters run the show in order to fill their own pockets at the expense of Armenia's national interests and Armenia's population (the hard work to ratify the defeatist "P" word is one example).

So we perceive parliament with the most mistrust and the army and church with more trust. interesting but not surprising. Why would we trust the Army and the Church? Probably because we have both played a significant role in ensuring their security and livelihood at one time or another over decades of insecurity. What did Obama say about guns and religion?

So it is safe to say that Armenia and Armenians trust in two institutions; the Army first and then the Church.

This data comes from Data Initiative (DI) project. We will soon have DI 2009 data out as well, in case anyone is interested to track this issue further, or dig dipper.

It seems to me it is obvious people distrust such institutions which are connected with politics. I think in most countries where people is not satisfied with their level of life and where the politicians often change their views and lie the situation will be the same.
Best wishes Angelina

It's great to see CRRC data in use and discussed. I would just like to point out a small clarification. CRRC has several databases collected during various projects. This data comes from Data Initiative (DI) project. We will soon have DI 2009 data out as well, in case anyone is interested to track this issue further, or dig dipper.
