Armen Darbinyan, Armenia
Armen Darbinyan was Prime Minister of Armenia from 1998 to 1999. An economics graduate from Moscow State University, he was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Armenian Central Bank in 1994 and Minister of Finance in 1997. Since 2001, Armen Darbinyan has been the President of the Russian-Armenian Slavonic University. In 2005, the World Economic Forum awarded him the title of Young Global Leader.
Civilitas Polls
With the support of Norwegian and German governments, a few months ago the Civilitas Foundation began to conduct polls throughout Armenia. The results of the polls will be made available to the media and will serve as the topic of public discussions.
