Nino Burjanadze, Georgia

Nino Burjanadze is a founder of the think tank “Foundation for Democracy and Development”, in Tbilisi. Prior to that, she was Speaker of the Parliament (2001-2004; 2004-2008) and also fulfilled the duties of Interim President of Georgia (2003-2004, 2007-2008). Earlier, she served as Vice President of the OSCE PA (2000) and President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (2001-2002). In 1998-2000, she was elected as a Rapporteur of the General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Issues of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. Since 1991, she has been a Professor at the International Relations and International Law Department of Tbilisi State University.

 
Civilitas Polls
With the support of Norwegian and German governments, a few months ago the Civilitas Foundation began to conduct polls throughout Armenia. The results of the polls will be made available to the media and will serve as the topic of public discussions.
