Civilitas Visits Southern Armenia: Harzhis Village

Videos

The Civilitas Foundation's Economic Facilitation Program traveled through Southern Armenia, during the early days of November 2009, on a trip destined for the Armenian-Iranian border communities of Alvank and Shvanidzor.

The Facilitation Team visited various village communities along the way, overlooking current and past projects of the program, as well as introducing new agricultural and dairy production projects to Armenia's rural regions, such as refrigeration units and milking machines for collective dairy production in Armenia's lesser developed village communities. One of these villages, Harzhis Village, was the first stop along our journey, where our Facilitation Team spoke with a village family regarding their means of living, what they farm, issues they have, and what our program can do to help the village move forward in its development.
